Engineering STEM Workshop

(Design & Construction of a Bridge)

On the 5th of February, 30 of our Year 7 students took part in a a STEM workshop delivered by Dr Khosru Rahman CEng, FIMechE, CMath, FIMA who is a visiting professor from the Royal Academy of Engineering.

During the workshop the students took part in a range of educational talks and interactive tasks focused on engineering processes, structures and applications. Following this, students took part in a series of engineering competitions and challenges.

We would like to thank Dr Rahman for his time and preparation for a wonderful day that was both enjoyable and an excellent learning experience for all involved.
