Enrichment: Charities Project

Each term, one Year 8 class will learn about charities and work in groups to design their own charity including its social purpose and how it will raise awareness and funds. At the end of the project, a charity/voluntary organisation will visit, and talk to the class about their work and its purpose, as well as about their job and other roles within their charity. Term 1 is Hemsley Conservation Centre.
