Traineeships – changed from 2023

Traineeships – they’ve changed.

A traineeship is an education and training programme with work experience.

From 7th August 2023, Traineeships were withdrawn as a programme from the government.

Similar schemes, might be offered locally, however. For example, we work closely with Runway Training who offer ‘Runway Futures’. A full-time, 1-year course for students who didn’t get the qualifications that they needed at GCSE and aren’t quite ready for college life.
