Pupil Premium Policy & Information

Wrotham School Character Strengths

The pupil premium is additional funding given to publicly funded schools in England to raise the attainment of disadvantaged pupils and close the gap between them and their peers. Pupil Premium students are those who currently receive, or have received free school meals in the past 6 years; are a Child in Care or have been adopted in the UK or whose parents are Service Personnel.

If you think your child may be eligible for Free School Meals (irrelevant of the new Universal Infant Free School Meals scheme) please either contact the School Office on 01732 884207 or Kent County Council on 01303 862375 (your call will be treated confidentially). Alternatively follow the link to the Kent County Council’s website.

Every child registered for FSM provides the school with additional funding to be used in the manner above.
